Dear Ann,

I'm excited to hear you're choosing a second foreign language! I started learning English when I was about ten years old. To improve, I practice regularly by watching English movies, reading books, and speaking with native speakers whenever possible. It's all about immersing yourself in the language as much as you can.

Besides English, I'd love to learn Spanish. It's spoken in so many countries, which I think would make traveling and understanding different cultures much easier. Plus, I've always been fascinated by Spanish music and literature, and learning the language would allow me to experience these in their original form.

Choosing a new language to learn is indeed tough, but think about what interests you culturally or what could be useful in the future. Good luck with your decision!

Warm regards,
[Your Name]
